Senior Center

 

 

The Senior Center Programs improve and promote a better quality of life for the Paiute, Washoe and Shoshone elders (55 years or older) of the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony and Hungry Valley.

 

Here are some of the services that the Senior Center provides:

*Free lunch at the Senior Center from 11:30am-12:30pm, Mon—Fri.

*Social, cultural, education, safety and nutritional presentations

*Homebound lunch delivery

*Transportation and referral services.

*Commodity & Food Pantry Delivery

*Assistance with paperwork and or phone assistance.

*Monthly activities which include (sewing class, movies, bingo etc.)

*$100.00 per RSIC enrolled Senior is available towards the purchase or repair of glasses or dentures, once every twelve months. (FUNDS ARE LIMITED)

* Computer/internet/printer available.

*Weekly Blood Pressure Checks
